Options D and O Spreadsheets User Guide
You should enable macros. See Enabling Macros in Excel for more information. The software does not work correctly without macros enabled. Information from the Control Center that identifies the business or applicator will not be copied to the worksheet and many of the user-assistive features will be unavailable. See Enabling Macros in Excel for more information.
Users of Option B versions up to version 6.03 who have Excel 2010 may see a “Macros are disabled” warning in the header area of the spreadsheet. When an Option B workbook is opened, a macro runs that reads some identity information from the Control Center and hides the red “Macros are disabled” warning in the header area of the spreadsheet. In Excel 2010 only (not in earlier versions of Excel), this macro runs only if Excel is already running when you open the workbook.
Therefore for Excel 2010 and Option B versions prior to 6.1, we strongly recommend that you start Excel 2010 before opening an Option B workbook.
